This is a reference to a round trip of old towns and villages to the northeast of Moscow that are a good reminder of the rich history and culture of the area that was a center of influence in the Russian empire. The tour features historic churches, buildings, monument and Kremlins some over a thousand years old. Many of these have now been turned into museums and are open to the public. Golden ring tours are conducted by a number of local operators and can also be prearranged before your arrival to Moscow.
