Internet use is widespread in Russia with an approximately 15 million Russians accessing the net on a regular basis each day. The internet infrastructure in the country is fairly developed with latest technologies already in use especially in the Cities of St Petersburg and Moscow. These include; Wi-Fi hot points and Broadband Internet. It is anticipated that Mobile phone enabled internet and 3rd Generation Networks will be soon implemented.
