Putin’s last official trip abroad to push energy plan!

President Vladimir Putin heads to Bulgaria this week, this may be the Russian President’s last foreign trip before the March Presidential election, Mr Putin is definitely stepping on the gas.

Vladimir Putin is expected to push a Kremlin plan to build a web of pipelines that would cement Europe’s dependence on Russia’s energy supplies during his two-day visit in Sofia, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Bulgaria.

President Putin is expected to sign a number of key documents, including, Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline project, and the South Stream gas pipeline, that would mean 900 kilometres of pipes that annually deliver over 30 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe.

Also An agreement to build Bulgaria’s second nuclear plant is said to be in the works. with Russia’s Russian nuclear vendor, Atomstroyexport  expected to be the constructor.
